The Dust Devils scored at least a run in the first four innings, highlighted by a two-run homer from Hunter Koehler in the second. Chad Hunter Jr. and Mickey Smith drove in runs in the first inning, while Gavin Hogencamp finished the game with two RBIs. Evan Off also had two hits and knocked in a run, with Dreyton Gleason recording the win on the mound.
Kingman Academy ended up scoring three runs in the fifth and the sixth but came up short at the end, with Koehler completing the game with a strikeout. River Valley is now 17-8 this year and will play American Leadership Academy on Friday at 3:45 p.m.
