LAKE HAVASU CITY — The River Valley High School track and field team raced again on Saturday, with Alissa Hardeman placing third in the long jump and also in the 4 x 100 relay with Chloe Gorrell, Amiah Klier, and Danika Collins.
Collins and Gorrell also finished fifth in a pair of races, with Hardeman coming in ninth in the high jump. Sophie Reaves also ran for the girls in the 100 meters, while Peyton Boice had the top result for the boy's team, coming in third in the 400 meters. He set a new personal record with a time of 53.73 and also came in sixth in the 200 meters.
The Dust Devils had a strong result from their relay team of Kanan Dowling, Shane Shorter, Boice, and Jayden Plotkin. Riley Gonzales and Ben Serrano finished fifth and eighth, respectively, in the 100 hurdles.
